Velvet Otter is the brainchild of Antonina Romanova, a Salesforce veteran with over 15 years in the ecosystem. She’s seen it all—projects that soar and those that sink—across industries including manufacturing, property management, publishing, construction, retail, technology, luxury services, education, non-profits, media, software, and transportation. From being a Business Analyst to a Project Manager, Architect, Consultant, Developer, and Designer, Antonina has worked on every side of the table.

Her holistic approach to Salesforce solutions stems from years of hands-on experience, where she realized that most failures aren’t just about bad code or misconfigured features—it’s about a lack of alignment between the technology and the business goals. Too many implementations lean too far one way, either over-engineering the tech or neglecting the people and processes that actually use it. Velvet Otter exists to bring that balance back, ensuring technology empowers businesses rather than overwhelming them.

Antonina isn’t just a leader in the Salesforce space; she’s also the founder of the Thames Valley Salesforce User Meetup, fostering a community where professionals can share knowledge and solve challenges together. And when she’s not untangling Salesforce complexities, you’ll find her pursuing another passion—beauty and aesthetics. A certified expert in multiple beauty disciplines, she believes in the same principles there as in tech: precision, creativity, and transformation.
